Dr. Rajeev Rai, an eminent scholar, educationalist, politician and philanthropist has shown how one can climbed the ladder of success through discipline, hard work and determination. Born in a remote village in Ballia, his humble dwellings did not dissuade him from dreaming big.

Bangalore, being the educational hub, attracted Rajeev Rai to leave home and family for educational pursuits. With no mentor and in an unknown place, he joined the diploma in physiotherapy course and  completed it in flying colours with gold medals in all semesters. He joined as a warden, teacher. His popularity and zeal spiralled him to the post of Principal and Chief Administrator in a short span. 

Rajeev Rai realised his desire to impart quality education with philanthropist leanings and became the Chairman of Avk Group of institutions in the year  2000. He acquired established schools, Nursing and pharmacy schools and colleges and degree colleges. Keeping pace with latest technologies, under his Chairmanship, new courses in Management, Commerce, Computer Science, Nursing and Education were set up in new campuses with state of the art infrastructure.

Students of his institution have received gold medals, ranks and are well placed in leading hospitals and companies worldwide. Thousands of underprivileged children have benefited from scholarships, free seats and free accommodation  earmarked specially for them. Governments of Jharkhand and Tripura have selected Avk group of institutions to train SC, ST, OBC students. MOU with governments of Burkina Faso, Chenla University, Cambodia, Kampala University, Uganda has facilitated exchange programmes. 

Rajeev Rai is a self made man with strong views, he is gifted with writing and oratory skills. As a Chief Editor, he has penned strong views on many issues. He has a huge following on social media as a testimony to his growing popularity.  

Rajeev Rai is the National Secretary and spokesperson  of Samajwadi Party. He is credited with being the man behind the  success of forming the 1st Samajwadi Party government in UP in 2012 and is the media face of the party. He was the LokSabha candidate for Ghosi representing his party in 2014.

Rajeev Rai has also been conferred the doctorate degree by the University of Ballsbridge in the field of Education besides a number of other awards.
